Rattlesnake Scarves!

I am pleased to announce that the Rattlesnake Scarf is now available! 

At $79.00, I created this piece to make my art accessible and wearable. It was inspired by the coast foothills of California where I grew up, and where there are lots of rattlesnakes. This is the origin of the multivalent meanings of the rattlesnake in my work. Each time a rattlesnake sheds its skin, it gets a new rattle. Transformation isn’t comfortable, but it contains the feminine power of creation. 

This limited-edition scarf is 100% silk georgette, a perfectly cool addition to the outfit as we shed layers in late summer. It is designed by me and fabricated locally in Brooklyn by Software Studios.
